  • Open QuickBooks Desktop on the computer that hosts the company file.
  • Select the File menu located at the top menu bar.
  • Hover over the Utilities option in the drop-down menu.
  • From the side menu, select the Verify Data option.
  • Click on the OK button to run the tool.

  • Go to the File menu located at the upper menu bar.
