On Monday Shilpa Shetty urged the citizen to respect the privacy of her family. She further added that they don’t deserve a media trial. This is the first-ever time Shilpa posted after her husband Raj Kundra’s arrest in the case of a pornography racket. She further stated that she has full faith in Judiciary and the Mumbai Police. She also added by saying “As a family, we are taking recourse to all our available legal remedies. But, till then I humbly request you – especially as a Mother – to respect our privacy for my children’s sake and request you to refrain from commenting on half-baked information without verifying the veracity of the same”.
In her post on social media platform i.e. on Instagram the Bollywood actress wrote by calling herself a “Proud low abiding Indian Citizen with a hardworking professional since 29 years. Please allow the law to take its course. Satyamev Jayate”.
She requested to stop passing false quotes on herself and her family. She also said that “People have put their faith in me and I’ve never let anyone down. So, most importantly, I request you to respect my families and ‘my right’ to privacy in these times”.
Raj Kundra was arrested on July 19 by the crime branch for making pornographic films and published them on the mobile application. He was denied bail by the city court last week as the investigation is continued. The Mumbai Police found that Raj Kundra with the company named Armsprime Media Pvt Ltd is connected with the London-based company Kenrin Pvt Ltd, has bought Hotshots app in which he uploaded videos that are objectionable on the social media.
The income earned by Raj Kundra between the month of August and December last year was around 1.17 crore by this pornographic content through Hotshots was found in the search. When police searched his office there are many other proofs found in his office.
